Sieglinde Vollmer Passes Away at 100

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — Sieglind Vollmer, a warm-hearted entrepreneur, supervisory board member of the Vollmer Group, and trustee of the Sieglinde Vollmer Foundation, passed away on Jan. 29, 2025, at the age of 100. As the daughter of company founder Heinrich Vollmer and a trailblazer in the engineering industry, Sieglind Vollmer developed the traditional company into a technology leader for grinding and erosion machines. Her legacy will live on far beyond the boundaries of the company.
